This tutorial was specifically designed to answer just those questions for you. We will be focused here on getting you up and running in the application quickly, teaching you about tools and workflows that you will need to understand from day one. To begin this Photoshop training, we will start out slow, introducing you to the various pieces of the user interface and some important terminology. From here we’ll move on and spend some time getting to know layers in Photoshop and learning how to utilize a layer-based workflow. Next we’ll learn about selections and the various ways we can create them before learning about some of the most important image adjustments we can make in Photoshop. Moving on, we’ll methodically move from topic to topic, learning about important tools and features such as color, brushes, image healing, masking, vector tools and filters. By the end of this tutorial, you will have accumulated a solid foundation of knowledge and be ready to move deeper into this powerful application.
